  • We are thrilled to congratulate Larken Janson-Tidd on being honored with the Unsung Hero Award at the 2024 Columbus Women & Girls' Fest! • ISBH Expands Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT) Services to Meet Rising Needs Across Southeast Ohio August 13, 2024 — Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is proud to announce the expansion of its Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT) program to Athens, Fairfield, Pickaway, Ross, Jackson, Gallia, Meigs, Vinton, Hocking, Morgan, Washington, Perry, and Muskingum counties in response to the growing demand for intensive therapeutic services. The state of Ohio has recognized the urgent need for mental health services in these regions and has awarded ISBH grant funding to establish and enhance IHBT teams, particularly in Perry, Morgan, Washington, Athens, Vinton, Hocking, Jackson, Galia, and Meigs counties. Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT) is a specialized mental health service that provides comprehensive therapeutic care directly in the homes of youth and families facing severe emotional disturbances. The program is designed to stabilize crises, improve family functioning, and prevent the need for out-of-home placements. IHBT works to keep families intact by delivering individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family. The services are highly flexible, meeting families where they are—both physically and emotionally—and are available around the clock to provide immediate support during times of crisis. According to Shannon Brown, Program Manager at ISBH, "Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) is a crucial service that offers families the support they need to navigate extremely challenging circumstances. By providing this service in the home, we can better engage with the entire family unit, creating a more stable and supportive environment that reduces the risk of youth needing to be placed outside their homes or helps them transition back home after such placements." ISBH is actively seeking licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors to join our expanding IHBT teams across the mentioned counties. Successful candidates will be offered a comprehensive benefits package, including full agency benefits, flexible scheduling, and a $5,000 hiring bonus. For more information about ISBH, our services, and career opportunities, please visit our website at isbh.org.
