Congratulations to the National Health Authority (NHA) and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, along with Koita Foundation on this major milestone in the country when it comes to promoting education on telemedicine services. It is a pivotal step in readying healthcare professionals for digital transformation and #ABDM adoption. A resilient health infrastructure is achievable only when well-trained healthcare professionals are equipped with the best technologies and opportunities for continuous learning. Earlier this year, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, with the support of the Koita Foundation, launched the Digital Health Foundation Course. Intelehealth is thrilled to have played a part in the development of this pedagogy to serve last mile communities. This course is specifically tailored for medical students and healthcare professionals, providing essential knowledge and skills to effectively deliver healthcare using digital health applications. Students can utilise the Intelehealth platform in the Digital Health Lab to practice their virtual care skills and learn more about integrating telemedicine into their healthcare practice. With this latest collaboration, the impact grows much wider. Technology need not be exclusionary, rather it can be a force of good for everyone. Digital Public Goods Alliance(DPGA) pushes forward such a vision and Intelehealth is proud to be one such Digital Public Good. Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar along with Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, Government Of Punjab, and Punjab Health Systems Corporation (Chandigarh) organised a workshop on the adaptability of DPGs and how to leverage it for public health systems in India. How does the global partnership push the cause of open-source software, open standards, open data, open AI systems, and open content collections? What is the implication of integrating such products into the Indian Public Health System? And what kind of scientific partnerships and collaborations are possible between DPG developers like us, civil society, public and private sector stakeholders, and existing national health programs? We loved being part of this solution-building approach and participate in this conversation with eSanjeevani state programme officers (Punjab), Public health experts, IT experts, DPG platform providers, and civil society. We are nothing without our team. While #technology is key to our work, the right kind of technology development requires feedback from the #programs team as well as consistent inputs from #research and for any of it to become sustainable, we need #partnerships, #people and #communications. As we amp up our efforts to make telemedicine services a reality for #lastmile #communities globally, all hands needed to be on deck. We met up to relook at our #strategy for the next few years- what needed revision? What needed a follow-through? How can we consistently create impact at scale? And how can we continue to serve our #partners and communities at the last mile better? We have some answers and we look forward to continue building a global community of #telemedicine users.
