Reach out to your Representative and urge them to vote NO on the SFOPS amendments that threaten to cut funding for DOS educational and cultural exchange programs. Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) has introduced Amendment 38 (#158) to the FY2025 State Department funding bill, which would eliminate all funding for Educational and Cultural Exchange (ECE) programs. Additionally, Amendments 1 (#83) and 13 (#15), introduced by Rep. Josh Brecheen (R-OK) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), also pose significant threats to ECE funding and programs. Your swift action is critical with the SFOPS funding bill vote likely happening TODAY.
