Improving Lives, Finding the Cure.
About us
Founded in 1990, the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) is the first and largest organization focusing specifically on multiple myeloma. The IMF’s reach extends to more than 525,000 members in 140 countries worldwide. The IMF is dedicated to improving the quality of life of myeloma patients while working toward prevention and a cure through our four founding principles: Research, Education, Support, and Advocacy. The IMF has conducted more than 250 educational seminars worldwide, maintains a world-renowned InfoLine, and in 2001, established the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG), a collaborative research initiative focused on improving myeloma treatment options for patients. In 2012, the IMF launched the Black Swan Research Initiative®, a groundbreaking research project aimed at curing myeloma. The IMF can be reached at (800) 452-CURE (2873). The global website is www.myeloma.org. Follow the IMF on Twitter @IMFmyeloma.

A letter from Jack: Diagnosed with #multiplemyeloma, a blood cancer I had never heard of, I felt confused and overwhelmed. Joining a support group, however, brought a wave of enthusiasm. Seeing so many others living with the same disease filled me with hope. I became a support group leader because I wanted to give back. As a leader, I learned to let all voices be heard. To me, being a support group leader means I'm able to help others. The International Myeloma Foundation's Support Group Leaders Summit empowers me to become a better facilitator. Raising money to support the #InternationalMyelomaFoundation is important to me. Because of the educational opportunities they provide for patients and support group leaders, I believe it's crucial for everyone to have access to this knowledge. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against #myeloma. Donate to the IMF and help empower patients and care partners: https://mmsm.link/3KZCa4m #mmsm
