We're very proud of these survey numbers. When I helped design the Good Gamer Group panel for Interpret, we wanted to make a panel that people were happy to be a part of (rather than something they felt was a chore, or that they were doing just for the money). We designed a system that put participants first and made things easy for them, and I'm happy to say that in addition to having happy participants, clients often tell us that they're the most dedicated, informed, and insightful testers they've ever seen. Let me know if you want to work with us on games research and see for yourself!

🌟 Part Two – Why Our Community Scores Are So High? 🌟 Once everyone is settled in our facilities, our priorities are clear: 1️⃣ Our Good Gamer Group Members (community) 2️⃣ Our Staff 3️⃣ The Client We see our members as the talent, my staff as the directors, and the client as the audience. Your importance matches your role, but everyone is treated with equal respect. Here’s how we go the extra mile: 🍫 Premium snacks & refreshments in the check-in area — participants tend to arrive early! 🚗 Need a ride? If we change dates and a participant loses transportation, Uber’s on us. 💵 Late incentive? Here’s an extra $25 for the inconvenience. 🐟 Dietary preferences? No meat? No problem! Fresh grilled salmon coming right up. 💺 Comfort comes first! Our budget for chairs used in playtesting far exceeds that of our staff and the client viewing room. 🎮 Unclaimed incentives? We give everything back through free games for our community. When you provide a wide range of solutions, it empowers your staff to do what’s necessary. The result? An echo chamber of great feedback and insights when participants feel happy, comfortable, and respected. 📅 Coming next week! Let’s dive into how we source our panel. Stay tuned!

As Gamescom approaches, we surveyed our Good Gamer Group community to understand their perspectives on live-service games. Here are the top 5 insights you need to know: 1️⃣ Living Games: Gamers value the continuous updates and new content provided by live-service games, keeping the games alive to play with online friends locally or across the globe. 2️⃣ Mixed Views: Live service games are divisive. Gamers express concerns about predatory monetization, including battle passes and additional content costs. ➡Some feel they can become 'endless money pits' and prioritize profits over player experience. 3️⃣ Battle Passes Implementation: While some appreciate the opportunity to earn exclusive in-game items and cosmetics, others argue they're just a costly gateway to exclusive content or can create a pay-to-win scenario. ➡Opinions on battle passes are split. 4️⃣ Preservation Concerns: Server dependency means that the longevity of live-service games is tied to their profitability and continued support from developers. ➡ Gamers are concerned about losing access to paid content if a live-service game is discontinued. 5️⃣ Community-Centric Development: Gamers believe that the success of live-service games depends on developers paying attention to the community. ➡They appreciate it when developers make changes based on community feedback, which enhances the gaming experience. If you are attending Gamescom this week, make sure to contact our research directors, Michael Murphy 🔜 Gamescom and Alexander Oldring, to book a meeting with them. #GamingTrends #Gamescom #GoodGamerGroup #MarketResearch #GamingCommunity
