July 11th, 2000, isn’t where our story began, but it was a landmark day in our mission to transform surgery—the day that the first da Vinci Surgical System received FDA clearance. In the years since, surgeons around the world have used five generations of da Vinci systems to help millions of patients. Six years ago, when Intuitive’s Women in da Vinci Surgery Symposium began, there were just six female surgeons in the room. This year?
