It’s official, we made it to Canada! What a trip! After 30 hours of driving across the country and going through Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan, we’ve finally arrived in Canada. I feel so immensely blessed that I wanted to share some of the amazing experiences I had on my trip. Here are some of the highlights, blessings, and people who helped make this move possible in such a short time: - Shout out to my amazing brother-in-law, Mom (Alba Araya Payne), and Dad who traveled with us to make the move Payneless. My brother-in-law, Jordan Watt, drove my car the whole way while my Dad drove the moving truck with me. We rotated a bit here and there when any of us were tired and needed a rest. My Mom flew with my wife to help her on the airplane with our baby, Vera. How amazing are they for taking time out of their week and being willing to travel with us to make things smooth? - When we got to the border for inspection and immigration, it took less than 40 minutes to get through. I’ve heard horror stories of the border agents being grumpy and looking through all your stuff, keeping you waiting for hours. I was a little worried since we had a full moving truck and two cars with us. The opposite happened as the agent was extremely nice and didn’t look in any of our cars or the U-Haul truck! - I got to see how beautiful America is. I never knew how much corn was in Nebraska and Iowa. They have cornfields as far as the eye can see. - During the trip, I stayed consistent with my 5 a.m. routine. That was a win for sure. If you haven’t yet, read the book *The 5 AM Club*. It will change your life. - So many amazing friends checked on us while we were traveling across the country to make sure we were safe and to see how things were going. Shout out to Kory Roisum, Wayne Rogers, Frank Bates, Jordan Weyburn, and many more great friends for showing us some love. Love you all! - We made it through a super nasty storm in Kearney, Nebraska, where the wind was blowing so hard that the U-Haul truck felt like it was going to get blown off the road haha. Luckily, we made it, and I got to stay in Kearney overnight, where I used to live while selling Dish door to door. - We picked up my wife and baby from the airport 10 minutes after they got all their luggage. We couldn’t have planned it any better. What are the chances, after a 30-hour cross-country drive, of being that close on schedule to picking my family up from the airport? All in all, these are some of the things that stuck out to me that I felt like sharing. When you live your life in the gain, and not the gap (read the book The Gap and the Gain), you realize how many blessings we receive daily. Thanks to everyone who made this move possible and a smooth transition for me and my family. Excited for the next chapter in our lives, and if you’re ever in Canada, hit me up!

I’m moving to Canada! After living in Utah for 7 years, my family and I have decided to move to get closer to my wife’s family and enjoy a different pace of life. It’s always been my dream to live on a farm, grow my own food, be more self sufficient, spend more time with my family, be mortgage free, and wake each morning to a view of rolling green hills. The rural life has been calling me for a while now and so me and my wife made it a goal to make it a reality. Sure I loved living in Utah but I felt like it wasn’t going to be permanent. My wife and I set a goal to make this dream a reality and it’s coming true. Thankfully I have a job (wholesaling and investing in real estate virtually) that allows me to work from anywhere in the world from my laptop. I wanted to breakdown for anyone who cares how this dream became a reality. 1. I involved God in my decision. I prayed to ask God if it was the right move for me and my family. After receiving confirmation that this was right for me to do, I took action. Here is a scripture that I love and live by. Jesus taught us to pray for what we desire and he has promised that he will give it to us if we ask in faith. Mark 11:24-26 KJV Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 2. I wrote a letter to myself a year ago manifesting that we would be moving to Canada at this time. I’ve included that letter in the photos attached. All in all I believe that the mind is a powerful thing and if you put it in your mind to do something, pray about it, write it down, and act upon it, you can achieve anything you desire if it is right. I know this is long but I felt like sharing this with anyone who wants to achieve something they feel like might be out of their reach. I know you can do it if you believe, involve God, and go after it! Much love and wish us luck in Canada as I continue to work as a virtual real estate investor and focus my time on what I believe is most important in this life, God and Family.
