It's not easy to curate an event with such precision but Cherub absolutely crushed it last week with their get together during #NYTech Week. Not only did I have so much fun seeing colleagues and meeting new people, but I also gained so many insights on the current state of investing from the incredible panel with Jonathan Hung, Alex Malamatinas, Margaret Hines and Jaclyn Johnson. Main takeaways: ✖️There is still a ton of dry powder (read: VCs sitting on capital) that is waiting to be invested. ✖️When raising, a brand must be authentic, have a strong founder story and under promise over deliver.  ✖️2024 is the reset year and incredible time for innovation in CPG. Huge shoutout to Meghan Houle, ACC for the invite and introductions to so many amazing individuals.
