The last visit of our trip took us back to Boston where stopped by Massachusetts Institute of Technology who are supporters of our Journal, the International Journal of Strength and Conditioning (IJSC) We had the opportunity to spend some time with the athletic department, where it was great to hear about the current developments that are happening for their student athletes, with the redevelopment and growth of their performance facilities!

Our next visit was to Bryant University which was another site visit for our Degree Accreditation Programme. It was great to see a blend of great teaching facilities that link the practical space to the classroom within a few steps to give students a great applied education, with a curriculum to match!

Our first stop of the day took us to Central Connecticut State University to visit their academic department and discuss the IUSCA Degree Accreditation. A great opportunity to see how they run their Exercise Science Programme which gives students an opportunity to gain a whole host of different hands on opportunities in different fields We also managed to get a quick look at their athletic facilities as well!

On our next visit, we stopped by The University of New Haven We had the opportunity to catch up with their academic staff, and learn more about their exercise science programme, as well as some of the opportunities their students have, including working with the athletic department We then stopped by the performance department, where we were lucky enough to have a tour of their state of art facilities, a big shout to Coach David Faugno for his time and the tour!
