Commission Seeks Applicants for Volunteer Boards - The Jefferson County Commission proposes to appoint to the following authorities, boards, commissions, or committees:
· South Jefferson Library Committee: one, five-year term ending June 30, 2029
· Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Public Library Board: one, five-year term ending June 30, 2029.
· Bolivar-Harpers Ferry Public Service District Board: one, six-year term ending June 30, 2030.
· Jefferson County Solid Waste Authority: one, four-year term ending June 30, 2028.
· Region 9 – Eastern Panhandle Regional Planning and Development Council: one, two-year term ending June 30, 2026.
· Jefferson County Board of Health: one, five-year term ending June 30, 2029.
· Jefferson County Development Authority: five, unexpired as well as three-year terms including general citizen representatives, and representatives of each business, labor, and agribusiness.
· Jefferson County Building Commission: two, five-year terms ending July 27, 2029.
· Jefferson County Property Safety Commission: one, unexpired citizen representative term ending February 8, 2026.
· Panhandle HOME Health Consortium: one, three-year term ending in 2027.
