This incident affected systems running Falcon sensors for Windows version 7.11 and above that downloaded the update between 04:09 UTC and 05:27 UTC. The resulting outage disrupted a wide range of industries, including airlines, medical facilities, and financial services. JetPatch’s Role in Mitigation: Our Agent Management platform specializes in centralized management across endpoints and servers. It automatically identifies and rectifies misbehaving agents. If JetPatch had been in place during this incident, it could have sent a command to stop or disable the problematic csagent.sys file, preventing machines from being stuck in a BSOD loop and minimizing downtime.
