Mental Health Care

Expanding access to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy by empowering mental health professionals, starting with KAP.

About us

Journey Clinical is on a mission to transform the growing mental health crisis by accelerating the adoption of frontier treatments that lead to lasting improvements in clinical outcomes. We have built a turnkey healthtech platform to safely and effectively expand access to a powerful modality known as Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, starting with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). In our patient-centered collaborative care model, licensed psychotherapists in the network take on the psychotherapy, while Journey Clinical's in-house medical team takes on patient eligibility, treatment plan and outcome monitoring. Journey Clinical’s platform gives psychotherapists passionate about PAP the infrastructure and support required to become empowered KAP providers, while enabling higher standards of patient care and enhanced clinical outcomes. If you are a licensed psychotherapist, interested patient or supporter of lasting mental health and wellbeing, we invite you to join us.

Journey Clinical was featured in Forbes for our research collaboration with Compass Pathways to inform how COMP360 psilocybin treatment may be delivered to patients with treatment-resistant depression across the US, if approved. “With a network of more than 2,000 therapists and a comprehensive training and education program, Journey Clinical has the infrastructure to support broad access to innovative psychedelic treatments for mental health conditions.” Pioneering mental health treatments, like investigational COMP360 psilocybin therapy, are showing promise in providing relief to those suffering from treatment-resistant depression (TRD). In the article, Steve Levine, MD, SVP of Patient Access and Medical Affairs at Compass Pathways, highlighted Journey Clinical’s research collaboration aimed at developing a scalable delivery and training model for COMP360 psilocybin treatment. Our partnership with Compass Pathways is a testament to Journey Clinical’s mission to transform the mental health landscape by empowering licensed psychotherapists to deliver evidence-based Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy safely and effectively. Supporting people to engage in Psychedelics I Founder of The New Health Club I Hosting Europe's No 1 Podcast about Psychedelics 🎙️

PTSD can make you succsessful. It sounds strange. But for a while it is true. It makes you ruthless. Detached, hungry for more than you can handle. It feels good, you love the adrenaline. The late night things, the competition rush. There are moments I still love that. It is strangely supportive for people working in finance and reporters in dangerous areas in the world. Until it isn't any more. Until it becomes the opposite: a destructive force of nature. It is something that Jonathan Sabbagh, from Journey Clinical a former banker, and me, a former reporter, often talked about and my theory was always that people with PTSD make excellent bankers and reporters. Next week we are launching the episode, recorded at NeueHouse in NYC, in which we talked about exactly that. And about the future of Ketamine therapy and how to create a community of patients and therapists. This will be episode 100. A milestone. More news coming your way soon. Collaborative care is at the heart of Journey Clinical. Journey Clinical Lead Clinician, Brigitte Gordon, DNP, PMHNP-BC, spoke about our patient-centered collaborative care model at last month’s Fluence X Journey Clinical community event. Within our model, Journey Clinical’s highly trained, in-house medical team partners with licensed psychotherapists in our network to deliver the highest quality of care to our shared patients. During the event, Brigitte spoke about the sensitivity and care that goes into all medical responsibilities of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy to ensure that each patient receives a tailored experience. “These attributes potentially improve the scalability of ketamine use in the community, due to reduced need for in-clinic monitoring, and would also reduce costs associated with clinic visits.” Writer Anuradha Varanasi recently reported on the findings of a clinical trial testing ketamine tablets as a treatment for treatment-resistant depression. Varanasi notes: “The team observed that while 71% of the patients in the placebo group experienced a relapse of a depressive episode, in the group of patients who took 180 mg of ketamine tablets as prescribed, only 43% of patients reported a relapse.” To learn more about whether Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) treatment would be a good fit for you, please visit: https://bit.ly/3Laycpw

“My mind was just completely blown because a lot of my clients struggle so much, and some of them have struggled for decades. To hear that there was treatment available that was showing such quick improvements, I just knew that I wanted to be a part of that.” We sat down with Journey Clinical KAP Provider, Sonia Albin, LPC, to discuss the patient outcomes she has seen since integrating Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in her practice. Sonia is the founder of Kite Ecotherapy, and her work focuses mainly on treatment of complex trauma and eating disorders. Thank you, Sonia, for the incredible work you are doing!
