🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 At Jump we recognize Pride Month as a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and as a strong reminder of the importance of continuing to fight for equality and the right for all to live authentically and freely. This month, a few Jumpsters came together to support Point of Pride's mission to help trans youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. The Jump team wrote letters of support and encouragement to be discreetly mailed alongside support packages to trans folks with barriers in accessing healthcare. We are honored to be a small part of spreading love and positivity to the community served by Point of Pride. We’re proud to support and stand with our LGBTQ+ colleagues and friends, not just this month but all year round. Join us in celebrating the beauty of diversity and the importance of acceptance. This May, we are proud to recognize Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and the meaningful role that the AANHPI community has played in shaping U.S. culture and history. To celebrate, we are supporting Twrl Milk Tea, an AANHPI female-owned small business that shares Jump’s values of sustainability and community. All of our Jumpsters will be indulging in a selection of TWRL’s delicious, organic, vegan milk tea and their hot-off-the-shelf popping boba. Asian Americans make up about 7% of the U.S. population and have an outsized impact on our country’s economy and culture. Happy Women’s History Month 🎉 At Jump we're on a mission to innovate in the live event industry, creating game changing technology to elevate fan experience. Over the course of this Women's History Month, we took time weekly to learn about and recognize some of the remarkable women who inspire us with their creativity, resilience, and contributions in technology. From Grace Hopper, a trailblazing pioneer in computer programming, to Hedy Lamarr, whose inventions laid the foundation for modern Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, these women have left an indelible mark on the world of technology. We also celebrated Gladys West, a visionary behind GPS technology and Chieko Asakawa whose groundbreaking work has significantly increased accessibility to the web for blind and visually impaired users. We are so motivated and energized by these contributions. As a fully remote company, we owe a special thank you to Marian Croak. Her innovative work in pioneering VoIP technology has revolutionized modern communication systems, enabling remote teams like ours to communicate, collaborate, and build long lasting relationships despite thousands of miles of distance. With over 200 patents to her name, half of which are in the VoIP space, Marian exemplifies the spirit of innovation that drives us forward at Jump. As a fully remote team, we cherish the opportunity to come together in person from time to time. The Jump team recently traded in winter weather for the sunny skies of Arizona for a company wide offsite ☀️. From collaborative working sessions to nail down key product decisions to an insightful panel featuring industry executives, we left feeling both inspired and accomplished. But it wasn't all business— we also enjoyed a spring training baseball game, competed against each other in a (mostly) friendly game show, and soaked up some vitamin D during a rejuvenating desert hike. Even though many of our team members met face to face for the first time, this trip felt like a reunion of old friends. We’re proud of the fun and collaborative remote-first culture that we’ve built, but nothing beats sharing life stories over guac and spicy margaritas. Here's to many more memorable offsites in the future! 🚀

Today, we come together with our AAPI Jumpsters to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, wishing all health, happiness, and prosperity! We asked a few members of our team to share how they and their families celebrate Lunar New Year. Benson Truong: "In my family, we always cook 8 dishes to eat on Lunar New Year because 8 is a lucky number in Chinese culture.” Mindy Kim: "As a child, my family used to burn a daljip, symbolizing purification of bad spirits and welcoming in a year of abundance.” Jerry Hong: "During the New Year festivities, it’s a customary practice for Koreans to fly kites as a symbolic gesture to bid farewell to any unfortunate events of the previous year.” Julie Li: “My children's favorite part of Lunar New Year is receiving red envelopes (hong bao) filled with "lucky money" from parents, aunts and uncles, and grandparents.” As we ring in the new year, we’re wishing all a happy & healthy year filled with joy!
