Thank you to this incredible group of board members from Southwest Minnesota Small Business Development Center and some fantastic interns from Schwan's Company for volunteering their time and packing curriculum kits for our satellite location in Lyon County!! We're so grateful for this effort and appreciate your time helping us invest in the young people of our community.

🎉 This past school year was outstanding 🎉 With the help and support of our incredible community of educators, support staff, donors, and over 7,500 volunteers, we are thrilled to share that 112,500 students took part in Junior Achievement programming this past year including over 886,000 contact hours of focused learning time! Most importantly, we were privileged to partner with over 500 schools and community organizations to provide influential programming to young people. Our gratitude for this feat is palpable and our team is ready for more! Okay, maybe not quite ready 😂 ! We're taking the next week off to recharge and enjoy a well-deserved break, see you next (fiscal) year! 🫶

🎓 Now that school is officially out for summer, we want to thank the real MVPs of our Metro programs–our Capstone team! With enthusiasm, joy, and curiosity, this group of incredible humans lead JA BizTown and Finance Park experiences for area students day in and day out at the JA North HQ in Saint Paul. 💛 From exercising amazing feats of patience to their tireless energy, our Capstone team deserves rounds of applause for facilitating immersive environments that bring classroom learning to life! Thank YOU all for making this school year the best yet; and here's to '24-'25 being even better.

🤸♂️ It's a whirlwind week for all in our neck of the woods, and we've been hustling this Spring to provide amazing experiences to students across our region! Today, we focus on our Job Shadow opportunities for area high school students and want to give a shout to the incredible partners that have hosted engaging trips over the last month! Delta Air Lines gave students from Minnetonka Senior High School & Johnson Senior High School a behind-the-scenes look at the aviation industry! EY hosted students from Roseville Area High School to show them how they help businesses around the globe! GEA Group in Hudson, WI gave the grand tour of their mammoth production facility to an amazing group from Harding Senior High school! NEOO Partners Inc. treated students from Camden High School in Minneapolis to a day of dreaming about collaborative urban spaces that benefit all! Sterilmed, a Johnson & Johnson Company taught a captivated crew from Saint Paul Central High School about their lab operations and careers! ⭐ This is just the tip of the iceberg for an increasingly important Job Shadow program that is growing and thriving thanks to our incredible partners! 💚

⚾️ 🎉 We had a fantastic night as the Minnesota Twins & Thrivent wrapped up the first #AtBatForImpacf cycle and celebrated a generous donation to help impact the students of JA North!! Our team showed out in support and was treated to an amazing time celebrating this incredible opportunity! 📣 We're thrilled to announce that relataspace has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 JA National Company of the Year 🎉 and will compete this summer in Washington D.C.!! The student entrepreneurs of relataspace will travel to the Junior Achievement USA National Student Leadership Summit in June to demonstrate their entrepreneurial thinking and skills on the national stage— showcasing their companies to Members of Congress and business leaders from all over the US. Thank you to our partners at Mounds View Senior High School for leading the studends through an amazing year of JA Company Program that resulted in this incredible opportunity!
