As we get ready to welcome students back to the Perdue Henson Junior Achievement Center, we're on the lookout for energetic and organized individuals to join our team! ➡️Position: Part-Time JA Center Associate 📍Location: Perdue Henson Junior Achievement Center 🎒Role: Help us bring BizTown & Finance Park to life! ✏️What You’ll Do: • Rock the Simulation: Assist with running our engaging BizTown and Finance Park experiential learning programs. • Team Up: Collaborate with the JA Education Team to ensure every student, volunteer, and educator has a top-notch experience. • Make an Impact: Contribute to a meaningful and fun environment for field trips, and help make learning an adventure! 👀What We’re Looking For: • Energy & Enthusiasm: Bring your excitement to our programs and make a difference in students' lives. • Organizational Skills: Keep things running smoothly as you support daily operations. • Flexibility: Work 2-5 days a week during the school year, with no weekends or holidays. On May 9, we held our JA Stock Market Challenge, presented by State Farm for just over 140 high school students from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, and Caroline counties. Students participated in a 60-minute simulated stock market competition, where they had $1,000,000 fictitious dollars to invest!
