National Diaper Need Awareness Week is 2 weeks away! The week draws attention to the issue of diaper need in the United States. A signature initiative of the National Diaper Bank Network, the National Diaper Need Awareness Week provides individuals, organizations, communities, and elected officials the opportunity to engage in real talk and simple actions. By working together we can ensure that all babies have access to clean diapers and other basic necessities required for them to thrive and reach their full potential. Did you know that 1 in 2 U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep their child clean, dry, and healthy? Help us change that. Keeping Families Covered invites you to get involved. It was another busy distribution day for the Keeping Families Covered mobile pantry at Warren-Newport Public Library in Gurnee today and we served 220 families in 2 hours! We gave away 12675 diapers and 6500 period products as well as some books that were generously provided by the library.
