I am honored and humbled to announce that effective June 1, I will be stepping into the role of President & CEO of Business Volunteers Maryland.
For the past eight years, I've witnessed firsthand the organization's transformative power. Our mission, centered on forging meaningful connections between people, institutions, and communities, is at the core of everything we do. Each day I'm inspired by the commitment of our volunteers, business partners, and nonprofits, all doing their part to make a difference. I get to work closely with our remarkable GIVE Fellows and alumni network, support new board members, dive deep with nonprofits, and help companies and individuals to give back with impact. It is truly a privilege and I look forward to leading this critical work.
Thank you to the incredible team at BVM for your daily collaboration, exceptional service, and unwavering dedication to our mission! Thank you to the leadership of our incomparable Board of Directors and Advisory Board for placing their trust in me and supporting our team in countless ways.
Lastly, thank you to the prior leaders of Business Volunteers, whose dedication over the past two decades built this extraordinary organization. To Julie Crisp Kernan, my heartfelt gratitude for your leadership, guidance, and friendship. What a time it has been. I could not be more grateful to have had 5 years of mentorship under you! To Kelly Hodge-Williams, the founder of Business Volunteers, whose vision and efforts laid the foundation for everything we do today. Thank you for your enduring contributions and indelible legacy.
