While working on Millions, we started developing what we called "Millions Account Updater," a feature that allowed cardholders to add their Millions Card everywhere (check out the old designs!). What we didn't realize was that this "feature" would evolve into devoting over 100,000 engineering hours to building out Plaid for merchant connectivity.  Within a relatively short period of time, we've gone from launching with early card issuers to partnering with billion-dollar challenger banks, and soon, we'll be launching with some of the largest banks in the world (shh!). Today, we're celebrating our highest card update day ever, which also marks the 2-year anniversary of renaming Millions Account Updater to Knot! Shoutout to Kieran O'Reilly for the brilliant naming idea—you always know best. Here's to many more milestones ahead!

As the merchant connectivity platform powering experiences for many banks and fintechs, we have the most robust and reliable set of merchants for consumers to interact with. A few months ago, I joined my friends Rory O'Reilly and Kieran O'Reilly at Knot on their mission to build the first merchant connectivity platform. It's been a thrilling experience thus far to say the least. At Knot, we're building something that has never been done before and these days in fintech, early stage companies doing something truly new are hard to come by. This is one of the many things I love about Knot. We are seeing extreme momentum with our flagship CardSwitcher product and have big plans for future products 👀 Although we are hiring across product, engineering, and sales, I want to highlight a few critical engineering roles on our team: Senior Fullstack Engineer: This person will work directly with me to build and scale our CardSwitcher product, as well as a new product we have in the works. Tech Lead Manager, Core Products: This person will also work directly with me to lead one of our most critical product engineering teams building all existing and new consumer-facing product experiences. Tech Lead Manager, Platform: This person will lead and own our core merchant connectivity platform made up of hundreds of merchant integrations. This platform is the backbone for all products developed at Knot and has some of the hardest technical challenges at the company. As banks and fintechs continue to release new debit and credit cards there remains the perennial problem: how to get people using these new cards. Until now, there has not been an easy way to solve this problem. But Rory O'Reilly, the CEO and Co-Founder of Knot, came across this problem in his previous company and decided to do something about.
