We attended Regen 2024! We recently had Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) Assistant Chief Executive Emily Robson speak at the #Regen2024 conference, giving attendees a breakdown on the role of innovation in regeneration and plans for future growth across the innovation district. Emily was joined by Catherine Holmes - Assistant Director - North at Homes England and Stuart Rogers - Director of Project Manager, North West at Muse to explore some of the key mechanisms to unlock inclusive growth. We were thrilled to share what makes a successful and sustainable place for communities in our innovation district!

This week the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) team welcomed a delegation from ISPIM - International Society for Professional Innovation Management consisting of 14 professors from the Balkans who visited Liverpool as part of an EU-funded project to learn more about how the UK supports science, technology and innovation. The team showcased some of KQ Liverpool's greatest assets including the Digital Innovation Facility, The Spine, LYVA Labs, Novotel Hotels, MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre and Materials Innovation Factory. Thank you to all the partners involved in the visit!

Meet Emily Robson and Josh Wing, two new members of the Future Impact Board who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and unique perspectives. Emily, assistant chief executive of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) has spent the past four years supporting the strategic development and delivery of inclusive innovation programmes in the innovation district. Her expertise in accelerating growth and business support across the region is invaluable, and we’re excited to have her help lead our mission to create lasting impact across the city region. Josh is an associate in the housing and regeneration team at Brabners, working with both public and private sector clients on site acquisition, regeneration, and disposal. His focus on working with national registered providers and charitable organisations aligns perfectly with our vision for the region, and we look forward to his contributions. Both Emily and Josh will play pivotal roles in supporting the Future Impact Board’s objectives and vision. Applications for new members is still open. We attended the Downtown in Business conference today to discuss all things Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) and what's next for the innovation district. The event speakers were Colin Sinclair CEO of Sciontec Developments Limited and KQ Liverpool with Prof. Tim Jones VC of University of Liverpool who discussed the exciting future plans for the Knowledge Quarter!
