I re-read a great article by Jason Clement in Forbes recently. Most days I discuss the benefits of youth sports and sports facilities in different communities. I love watching and being part of large youth sporting events. We can show economic impact data all day long but actually seeing with your own eyes will make you a believer. Talking to local hotels, restaurant and retail owners will confirm what you are seeing. And on the other side, being a father who had 3 kids in sports, we had many very memorable moments/trips that we still talk about today.
