As we continue celebrating our 40th anniversary, our staff will acknowledge each decade with a themed day. Earlier this year, we kicked off the celebration by traveling back in time and dressing in our best 80's attire to honor Landpoint's first decade in business! 🎧 💾 💿 💗   Here are some highlights from Landpoint's first decade:   ▪ Founded in November 1984 by James L. Souter in Magnolia, Arkansas, and began as Landpoint Surveys in the Souter family home.    ▪ James served as the Columbia County Surveyor from 1985 to 2000. His wife, Rhonda Souter, supported the business while also teaching.   ▪ Key projects from our first decade include the first Sportsman's Edition map of Lake Columbia, the Columbia County 911 Emergency map, and surveying the Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge, where we recovered historical GLO corners from the 1830's.   Landpoint has grown from 6 employees to over 300, now operating across the U.S. We serve major Civil, Oil & Gas, and Utility companies, demonstrating significant expansion and industry expertise.  #Landpoint #40YearsInBusiness #SurveyingExcellence #LandSurveying
