Yesterday, our Last Mile Food Rescue Heroes took an eye-opening tour of the Rumpke Materials Recovery Facility, witnessing firsthand how our curbside recyclables are given a new life! 🙌 Huge thanks to Elise from Hamilton County ReSource for organizing this insightful experience and to Hannah from Rumpke Waste & Recycling for guiding us through the process. Farewell, Christopher! 🌟 A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped us rescue 9,000 pounds of food from Duke Energy Convention Center as they close for construction! 🌟 Together, we cleared out shelf stable food, produce, and frozen products. Together, we rescued hundreds of pounds of fresh produce and more from Delaware North, food concessionaire at Great American Ballpark. 🍎 We delivered the food to Camp Washington United Church of Christ, where Cruz helped hand out food to the community.
