Say ciao to LDV at the Maidstone, a historic treasure redefining Hamptons hospitality this summer. The brilliant brainchild of hotel owners Irwin Simon and Mayank Dwivedi of ISMD alongside LDV Hospitality CEO John Meadow, this venture will infuse the East End with the spirit of la dolce vita at its 150-year-old property.

Once again, we've got proof that New York is home to some of the best restaurants in the world. The sophisticated American Cut, at 363 Greenwich Street right around the corner from Beefbar, is the 34th entry on the list, certainly the go-to destination if looking for top-notch service alongside exceptional food. Bonus points: the apps served here, not necessarily all meat-based, are just as great as the rest of the offerings.

Spearheading the menus of now two bustling restaurants—LDV at the Maidstone and Scarpetta Beach—chef Jorge Espinoza’s culinary effect on the East End truly does not go unnoticed. Skillfully transporting tastebuds to the vibrant streets of Italy with authentic and undeniably delicious creations, diners can savor the moment with spaghetti alla Nerano and squid ink linguine from LDV at the Madistone and lobster taglioni nero and short rib & bone marrow agnolotti from Scarpetta Beach.

The Maidstone Hotel, an iconic institution nestled within the historic district of East Hampton on Main Street, prepares to reopen this season under the new vision of LDV Hospitality, who plan to bring a touch of Italian luxury to the area. The over 150 year old boutique hotel compound, recognized for its whitewashed shingles and green awnings, which was constructed just after the Civil War, will open its doors this June.
