  • This year the Eddie Mae Binion Community Service Award will be given to G. Fatimah Muhammad. As founder and President of the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association, Fatimah Muhammad was one of the original partners of Legal Services’ Neighborhood Advocacy Program six years ago. The result has been an utter transformation of multiple blocks of Hyde Park and renewed attention from investors, partners, home and business-owners. There are few people in the City of St. Louis who can take more credit for the positive transformation of a neighborhood than Ms. Fatimah Muhammad, and we are truly grateful for her dedication and commitment to the community.
