Today, we celebrate what it means to be a practicing professional engineer at our company and those around the world. #ProfessionalEngineersDay

LeMessurier's Summer Water Park Outing! Oh wait... I mean Water Infiltration Testing!! Our enclosure team has been busy this summer providing water testing services to pinpoint exact locations of water infiltration and design repairs to prevent future leaks. These tests are self-performed and armed with a hose, a spray rack, and a dry day.

Link below! I remember sitting in my son's bedroom at the height of Covid, running calculations for the facade support for Northeastern's new EXP building. Wasn't sure if the world would ever return to normal, to say nothing of having the chance to celebrate such a gorgeous building...yet here we are! Congratulations to the project team! LeMessurier's team spirit goes unmatched! Over 20 LeMessurians (a third of the company!) competed in the Corporate FunRun on Wednesday evening. Ian Neill, Nathan Nickerson, and Terrance Dumoulin accumulated the lowest team time overall, and we even won best t-shirt. Congrats to all who participated!

We are thrilled that construction has started for the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. A unique Mass Timber and Living Building Challenge structure.
Introducing the new home for the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University: The David E. and Stacey L. Goel Center for Creativity & Performance. Now under construction in Boston's Allston neighborhood, the #ShawmutBuilt project will usher in a new chapter for A.R.T. with a cutting-edge facility set to redefine the landscape of performance and public gathering. Designed by Haworth Tompkins and ARC/ Architectural Resources Cambridge in collaboration with Charcoalblue, this regenerative building will achieve Living Building Challenge accreditation. Constructed with laminate mass timber, reclaimed brick, and cedar cladding, it aims to minimize embodied and operational carbon, maximize wellbeing, and boost biodiversity. The center will feature adaptable multi-use spaces, two performance venues, rehearsal studios, a public lobby, and an outdoor performance yard. When complete, A.R.T.’s new home will be a beacon for the arts and a pioneering model of sustainable construction. Learn more about the project here: https://bit.ly/3RJVI0C
