Developing methodologies for the integration of low-grade energy sources into high-temperature district heating networks

About us

LIFE Low2HighDH is a 3-year project aiming to change the landscape of high-temperature district heating sites (HT DHC) in Lithuania, Poland, and Slovakia. 🔥Our Mission: We will support 30 HT DHC sites to implement low-grade or waste heat technologies, promoting their benefits and providing a clear investment plan in line with the Energy Efficiency Directive. 💡Key Objectives: We're launching RFQs to select key suppliers for these technologies, including solar thermal, geothermal, and heat pumps. 📊 Measurable Impact: The project aims to attract EUR 454 million in sustainable energy investments, replacing 1 TWh/year of fossil fuels and abating 291,000 tons of CO2 emissions. 💬 Knowledge Sharing: We're sharing expertise and capacity-building materials with other HT DHC sites and stakeholders. 🌐Community Building: Low2HighDH will be fostering engagement and replication through a vast network of stakeholders.
