Founded in 2003 by Executive Director Kimber Lanning, Local First Arizona (LFA) is a community and economic development organization working to strengthen local economies. LFA educates consumers about the interconnectedness of the economy, trains small businesses to be more effective and more competitive, helps larger Arizona businesses and institutions tell their story as champions of Arizona, and creates programs and events that make it fun and easy to discover local businesses and buy local.     Join Local First Arizona and ABC Mobile for the Family Fun Day at the Heart & Soil People’s Garden on Saturday, October 26 for a morning of fun hands-on activities, garden education and nutritious local foods! The event's funds will help expand the Garden's tools, utilities and resources, benefiting local food systems and the lives of nearby residents. Our goal is to raise $6,000 through ticket sales and donations, raffles and sponsorships. Tickets are $20 per person, kids 12 and under are free!
