Congratulations to our incredible leaders and teams at Long Island Community Hospital, as we celebrated the 1,000th robotic surgery performed here. This milestone highlights the improvements in quality and patient care we've achieved ahead of our merger with NYU Langone Health next year. At Long Island Community Hospital, we perform a variety of robotic surgery procedures, including hernia, bariatric, gynecologic, and oncology-related surgeries. We're proud to be one of the few places in Suffolk County where surgeons perform emergency surgery robotically. We had the pleasure of welcoming the Little Saint Nick Foundation to Long Island Community Hospital! They generously donated over 100 bags filled with thoughtful items for our young patients. Each bag contains handwritten notes from children with good wishes & get well soon cards, a small stuffed animal, coloring pages, crayons and a small toy. Thank you, Little Saint Nick Foundation, for helping us bring our pediatric patients a bit of joy and comfort during their visit.
