Congrats to Anne McGregor for her first year at Make-A-Wish Greater LA! 🥳👏🎉 Anne is part of our marketing team and helps share what we do at Make-A-Wish! We asked her, what has been the most memorable moment at Make-A-Wish so far? “I love when I get to be a part of a wish reveal or go on a wish. Each time I get to see the reaction of a child and their family, when they find out their wish is coming true or when they arrive at their wish, it is an inspiring, moving, and impactful experience. It brings me back to why I work for Make-A-Wish. One of my most memorable moments so far was going on a wish for a little girl who wished to be a perfumer. This little girl loved making her own of perfumes at home and for her wish she got to visit a boutique perfumer in Los Angeles. Her reaction to the wish, wearing a personalized white lab coat, touring where the perfume is made, and then making her own perfume was incredibly special. Due to a brain tumor, she had lost sight in one eye and partially in the other and her parents shared that sense of smell has been so important to her, seeing her get to have this one-of-a-kind experience is something I will never forget.” Say congrats to Anne! 💙
