We are delighted to announce an important change within the MarineMax Group of companies.     Since becoming the largest superyacht services company in the world, through the combination acquisitions of Fraser Yachts, Northrop & Johnson, Fairport Global , SYM Superyacht Management and Atalanta Golden Yachts, the group has assessed how best to integrate and combine functional areas to make the overall group stronger, improve the experience and opportunities for the team members and to enhance the client offering across the board, while maintaining the culture and independency of the brands.   We are now excited to announce the creation of a new division within MarineMax, to be called the “Superyacht Division” (SYD). This new division will combine the back-office functions for the company’s Superyacht brands into one global support structure.  HR, Accounting, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Martech, Video & Image Production, Business Intelligence and Technology will now all fall under one “roof”, integrating the backend of each brand into one international organization, without changing the DNA of our well-established, individual brands.     To lead this new organization, we are also delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Ziriakus to Group Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, and the appointment of Alessandra Nenci to Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. CLEARWATER, FL (May 7, 2024) For the seventh straight year, MarineMax has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties to sponsor a home for a deserving family. Brett McGill, MarineMax CEO and President, comments, "We feel privileged to be part of the Habitat for Humanity program annually and to have an opportunity to extend a hand to families in need of homes. It's incredibly rewarding to witness the life-changing impact it brings. At MarineMax, we cherish the opportunity to unite as a team and contribute our efforts to making a meaningful difference in these families lives." This year's home dedication occurred on April 30 for the Hadley family. Jannese Hadley is a front desk receptionist and single mother to her two sons, Jah'Veon (10) and Jah'Len (7). Before getting the keys to their new home, the family of three lived at Jannese's grandmother's home, which was extremely challenging. The house was overcrowded, with one bathroom to share, and had a lot of maintenance issues, including a floor that was about to cave in and a leaky roof. Getting accepted into the Habitat program was truly life-changing for the family. "I cried tears of joy," Jannese said. "I immediately called up my boys to tell them the news." Her sons were incredibly proud of their mother for this accomplishment. They told her, "Mommy, whenever you tell us you're going to do something, you do it. You never let us down." Congratulations and welcome home to the Hadley family! Jannese has worked so hard to get to today. After completing 36 homebuyer education classes and 350 sweat equity hours, she now owns her forever home with a 0% interest mortgage that will provide herself and her boys safety and stability for years to come. Special thank you to MarineMax for sponsoring this home. This is the 7th home they have sponsored with our affiliate and we are so grateful for their continuous financial and volunteer support. Thank you so much! Thank you to Feeding Tampa Bay, GFWC North Pinellas Woman's Club, Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce with Kids Pedal Power, and Pinellas County Government for your gifts and welcomes for the family. #HabitatPinellasPasco
