Marjaree Mason Center supports and empowers adults and their children affected by domestic violence.
About us
For more than 40 years, the Marjaree Mason Center (MMC) has offered safe housing and supportive services to victims of domestic violence in Fresno County. The Center was founded in 1979 after the murder of Marjaree Mason, a native of Easton. A graduate of Washington High School and Reedley College, Marjaree lived in Fresno for 31 years and was well known in the community. Currently, the Center is Fresno County's only dedicated provider of domestic violence shelter and support services, including education for victims and youth. The Marjaree Mason Center supports and empowers adults and their children affected by domestic violence, while striving to prevent and end the cycle of abuse through education and advocacy. To contact MMC, call our Administration Building at 559-237-4706 or visit online at mmcenter.org. If you are in need of services, call our 24-hour confidential emergency hotline at 559-233-4357.

In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Foresters Financial has selected the Marjaree Mason Center as a recipient of a $50,000 donation through their "BIG Give" contest! ✨ This incredible gift honors Foresters' long-standing tradition of giving back. The really special part? MMC was picked among hundreds of nonprofits after being nominated by Foresters member and long-time MMC supporter from the City of Reedley, Rodney Horton. We cannot be more grateful for this generous support, which will help us continue fulfilling our mission. Thank you, Foresters Financial, and thank you Rodney, for believing in MMC and for helping us make a difference!💜
