It is no surprise that paid digital marketing is on the rise in associations! 📈 Facebook leads with 40% usage (up from 37% in 2023), LinkedIn at 34% (up from 30%), search engine marketing at 32% (up from 30%), and retargeting at 30% (up from 28%). Yet, 32% of associations still don't use any form of paid digital marketing. Associations seeing membership growth are more likely to use paid digital marketing tools. Happy National Intern Day! Today, we're thrilled to celebrate our amazing intern, Vincent Parente. Vincent joined MGI in his final year as a Communications Major at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and has been an incredible asset to our team over the past year. While we're sad to see him go at the end of the summer, we're so incredibly proud of him as he continues his studies in the Masters Program at Virginia Tech, finishing his undergrad with a perfect 4.0 GPA. 📊 New in this year's Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report: AI! While only 11% of associations currently use AI in membership marketing, 25% are moving toward using it, and another 43% are open to considering it. Several participants highlighted AI efforts as the most innovative initiative their association is working on. One participant mentioned they are "currently looking at using AI to increase staff efficiency," while another said they are "leveraging AI to assist in building products and producing copy."
