I completed my internship at Marvell, where I worked with the procurement team. During my time there, I developed a new process for cleaning, standardizing, and uploading historical spend data into our database. This work improved our ability to analyze and leverage the data for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Marvell provided an incredible environment for growth, allowing me to take on meaningful projects and gain valuable experience. I’m deeply grateful to my manager, Shanshan Jiang, and my mentor, Acacia Wagoner, for their guidance and support.

People Analytics Lead | Global Impact & Engagement Chair for Women@Marvell

🌟 From Summer Intern to W@M Global Impact & Engagement Chair: A Journey of Inclusion 🌟 Flashback to Summer 2019: I walked into Marvell as a wide-eyed summer intern, eager to make a mark—and maybe just figure out how to work the coffee machine without causing a caffeine crisis. Little did I know that this journey would lead me to one of the most rewarding roles of my career as the Global Impact & Engagement Chair for Women at Marvell (W@M), our women’s inclusion network. Working at Marvell has been like finding that perfect playlist—full of energy, surprises, and the occasional challenge that makes the experience even better. What has truly stood out to me is the importance we place on inclusion. It’s not just a buzzword here; it’s a commitment. And trust me, being in a space where people genuinely care about making things better makes all the difference. As the Impact & Engagement Chair of W@M, I’ve had the privilege to witness the incredible impact our teams have created. Whether it’s organizing conferences that bring industry leaders together or visiting high schools to inspire young girls about the opportunities for women in the semiconductor space, these efforts aren’t just events—they’re movements. They’re the kind of moments that remind you why we do what we do. So, on this Women's Equality Day, I’m feeling a bit sentimental (and also proud) of the journey so far. Here’s to the amazing team, the inspiring women, and the road ahead. Let’s keep making waves—one semiconductor at a time. #Inclusion #WomenAtMarvell #WomensEqualityDay #FromInternToChair #MarvellTechnology #Equality

What does “Innovation to Win, Connect to Succeed” mean to you? That was the theme of Marvell Vietnam’s annual company retreat, which took place August 2-4 at Ninh Chu-Vinh Hy Beach. This annual tradition is more than just a getaway—it's a vital part of fostering unity and providing a refreshing escape from the daily grind. Nearly 400 members of the Marvell Vietnam team gathered to participate in intense Marvell Olympics competitions and team-building exercises. Highlights from the event included a glowing "Marvell" campfire display and a show-stopping Masked Singer contest that left everyone in awe. Most of all, the event established new memories and a stronger bond among colleagues. Here's to many more adventures together!

I wrapped up an incredible summer as a Physical Design Engineering Intern at Marvell Technology last week! This experience has been truly transformative, as I had the opportunity to dive deep into chip design and optimization. Over the past few months, I conducted synthesis, floorplanning, place and route, and power analysis on chip blocks, which led to a performance improvement. I also had the chance to develop and implement code enhancements for optimized power routing, significantly boosting chip efficiency. One of the highlights was comparing various floorplans, and resolving congestion and timing issues along the way. I’m grateful for the support and mentorship from my colleagues at Marvell Technology, and I’m excited to bring these skills and experiences into my future endeavours. Here’s to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation!

Last week, Reem Ashkar, Director of Verification, and Ariel Bar-Lev, Sr. Global Talent Acquisition Manger, led a workshop for 35 Arab STEM students and graduates in partnership with itworks. At Marvell, we value organizations supporting diverse talent, aiming to empower them to grow their career in the tech industry. Reem emphasized the importance of supporting underrepresented talent, stating, “As a manager, I’m deeply committed to helping diverse talent find jobs. When we support underrepresented individuals who lack access to resources, it empowers them to thrive in their careers. Having a diverse team not only encourages fresh ideas but also drives innovation and success״ Ariel shared her commitment to supporting emerging professionals from diverse backgrounds, “My goal is to empower these individuals to unlock their potential and succeed in their careers. I believe a diverse workforce drives creativity, challenges conventional thinking, and encourages cross-cultural collaboration, empathy, and respect.” When asked for career advice, Reem encourages, “Be authentic, learn from mistakes, and don’t hesitate to seek help—it’s how you grow and move forward.” Ariel emphasized, “Curiosity and a growth mindset leads to new opportunities, opening doors that can help you advance in your professional career. I also recommend finding an opportunity to work as an intern during your academic studies. This will give you hands-on experience and increase your chances of securing a full-time position after graduation.”
