Cenergy Holdings announced this week that it reached a final investment decision to build a $300M cable manufacturing facility in Maryland. Hellenic Cables Americas, a subsidiary of the company, has acquired a 38-acre waterfront property at Wagners Point in Baltimore for the facility. The first phase includes the construction of a land cables plant to address growing needs for the transmission & distribution grid. Design is complete, permitting is on track and construction is expected to start by the end of the year.
