Secretary Yvonne Hao said it best: Last Wednesday was a “duck boat day” for the #Massachusetts #climatetech sector, similar to when we celebrate our champion sports teams in the streets of #Boston.
MassCEC CEO Dr. Emily Reichert joined Secretary Hao and Secretary Rebecca L Tepper at the State House as Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll celebrated the 28 Massachusetts-based companies that were named to TIME Magazine’s 2024 list of America’s Top 250 GreenTech Companies.
From green steel to EV charging infrastructure, the innovative technologies developed by these companies represent the global promise of the Commonwealth’s climatetech sector. At MassCEC, we’ve seen this promise up close by supporting many of these innovators through our Emerging Climatetech grant programs, 2030 Investment Fund, and internship program.
It was an extra special day for us at MassCEC, and it strengthened our drive to make Massachusetts the climate innovation lab for the world. Together, we’re getting the job done!
Congratulations to all!
