One big initiative the US Plastics Pact is working on is to help all stakeholders along the plastics value chain understand the underlying technical specifications of PCR. This in turn will lead to greater application across the board. On an episode of Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR)’s Plastic Content Podcast - Emily Tipaldo from UPP talks about this broader mission and how collaboration at scale can lead to greater success. Matium was built intentionally with technical specifications of materials in mind. Our goal was to help educate users on where substitutions could occur as well as where supply/demand truly is in the most granualr aspects of the market.
