Commercial Real Estate Brokerage & Managment | Owner / Broker / Investor ~ I Buy Buildings - Watcha Got For me?
Empowering Savvy Women in Commercial Real Estate to be Investors. This week, I had the incredible honor of speaking to a room full of Talented and Accomplished women on the "Investing for the Savvy Business Woman" panel at GlobeSt.com Women Of Influence conference . For 45 minutes, we delved into harnessing the power and potential of women in the commercial real estate industry to become investors or further ongoing investments.. Joined by Gina Baker Chambers and Beth Azor, The Canvassing Queen (2 extraordinary women and friends of mine) we gave real life examples of what we have done, what we are doing and best practices to get started. The room was filled with 30 brilliant, driven, and inspiring women, we discussed the urgent need for women to step up and start investing. Why? Because this is our core competency! We know more than 99% of the investors out there, yet only 3% of commercial real estate is owned and managed by women. Ladies, it's time to capitalize on our knowledge and insider information from being in this industry day in and day out, plus being the leadership and decision makers at our companies. Time to make strategic moves. Grow wealth. Yes, keep making money for your companies and clients, but grow your own portfolio for you and your family. I'll be posting a recording of the panel next week and sending out a summary in my FOCUSED newsletter "Women in Business" edition. See link in comments if you want a copy. #WomenInvestors #SavvyInvestors #CommercialRealEstate #Investing #GrowWealth #WomenEmpowerment #KnowledgeIsPower #StrategicMoney #StealthyWealthy #QuietlyWealthy #GlobeStWOI

If you're attending tomorrow's event, we encourage you to attend Drew's panel discussion and learn how urban retail investments are lining up for the remainder of 2024- and beyond. https://lnkd.in/eqbWFbBW #mcb #mcbrealestate #commercialretail #retailproperty #detaildevelopment #realestatedeveloper

So grateful to Edward Gunts @ The Fishbowl for the extra time he spent on this article to capture the spirit of MCB's June 2024 event and to provide a more complete accounting of the impact of Enolia McMillan on the trajectory of Morgan State University and Maryland. It was a special day, and we are grateful to Dr. McMillan's family for being willing to so generously share her story.
