Lifestyle medicine is a type of treatment geared at helping patients maximize their health by implementing evidence-based changes to their daily habits such as activity, nutrition, sleep and stress management. Contrary to popular belief, heath is not a “ lack of diseases”. Health is the accumulated store of energy your body possesses to help you accomplish your goals and dreams, avoid or manage illness and slow the aging process to a crawl. Lifestyle treatment starts with an assessment of what you want to achieve and an in depth evaluation of your current habits and health reserve. Based on that assessment we will help you craft a personalized prescription to fine tune each aspect of your day to day habits to help you maximize your “health-freedom”- the ability to achieve your goals.
