It is with great pride that we announce our Director of Instruction, Janean Murphy, has been named the 2024 LPGA National Teacher of the Year! Janean is an integral member of the Meadowbrook Team and is incredibly dedicated to providing exceptional golf instruction to our Members and their families. Her many accomplishments at Meadowbrook include but are not limited to: - Starting a 17U PGA Junior League Program - Growing the 13U PGA Junior League Program - Making Meadowbrook’s Operation 36 Golf program a Top 25 ranked program - Bringing top 50 teachers Stan Utley and Mark Sweeney to Meadowbrook for guest instructor led clinics - Encouraging families to spend time together on the course through the Family Cup golf series - Implementing a Golf n’ Giggles class to introduce 4-6 year olds to golf in a fun and engaging manner - Developing numerous clinics to get golfers on the course in game-like situations - Helping to grow the Junior Golf Championship by 22% over the last year We are thrilled for her to add this immensely deserving award to her list of professional accolades and look forward to her continued success in teaching at MCC.
