🎉 Neusoft Medical Announces Exciting New Breakthroughs in High-End DSA Research🎉 Recently, Academician Teng Gao Jun team and Professor Zheng Chuansheng team joined hands with Neusoft Medical in the journal Med by Cell Press (medical flagship, IF=17). Presentation entitled "Large-scale pretrained frame generative model enables real-time low-dose DSA imaging: "An AI system development and multi-center validation study" has been published in the journal. The results are the research results of the domestic high-end low-dose DSA/CT-DSA functional Innovation and interventional diagnosis and treatment application research project of the "14th Five-Year Plan" National Key research and development project team, which is the third national key research and development project undertaken by Neusoft Medical in the field of DSA. Inspired by artificial intelligence technology, based on multi-center large-scale clinical sample data, researchers use a real-time, multi-frame, generated low-dose DSA imaging system diagram (GenDSA), can reduce the radiation dose of DSA, the study results show that on the basis of using 1/3 standard dose, GenDSA generated video images, There was no difference with real images in terms of overall quality and lesion assessment. Results from early pig-to-human kidney xenotransplant trials are encouraging, but the interactions between xenotransplanted organs and the recipient require further characterization. In this issue of Med, Pan et al. apply single-cell sequencing to map the dynamics of xenograft-recipient interactions. While they observe early signs of antibody-mediated rejection, the porcine kidney shows evidence of rapid tissue repair after transplantation. These insights can be used to design new engineered porcine models to optimize patient outcomes after xenotransplantation.

GenDSA - a novel generative AI-based imaging system for Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) - can reduce radiation exposure by one-third without compromising clinical requirements. GenDSA outperforms state-of-the-art video interpolation algorithms, generating high-quality video sequences using a large-scale dataset of DSA images. Objective evaluations and assessments by interventional radiologists confirm the effectiveness of GenDSA in producing realistic DSA videos, offering significant clinical and translational benefits in reducing radiation exposure during interventional procedures. In the OCEAN trial, fish oil supplementation was found to significantly reduce serum triglycerides and induce changes in lipid profiles in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertriglyceridemia. The researchers also revealed that fish oil had a minor impact on gut microbiota diversity and composition, with baseline gut microbiota characteristics being more predictive of triglyceride response to fish oil than other factors. These findings emphasize the importance of considering gut microbiota in predicting and enhancing the therapeutic effects of fish oil in managing hypertriglyceridemia in patients with type 2 diabetes.
