Did you know you can swim with African penguins in Wichita!? 🤯 This week Yvette Campbell, CMP explored Wichita for groups during the #MeetInWichita FAM hosted by Visit Wichita. The stay at Hyatt Regency Wichita with a Starbucks in the lobby (bonus points!) was a pleasant surprise. The day included a ballpark visit, lunch, and an unforgettable time at Tanganyika Wildlife Park. Some of the highlights included: Feeding the lions, meeting an ant eater up close, and seeing a sloth get so close I could almost kiss it...If they allowed! 😉 An incredible destination for out-of-the-box group activities. 🚨 Are you including this #Attrition verbiage on your hotel #Contracts? …You need to! My job as a meeting Broker (one of them at least!) is to ensure there’s no ambiguity in my clients’ contracts. And when it comes to attrition, not being clear can have big $$$ consequences You’ve all seen an attrition percentage in your contracts, but have you clarified - 👉🏻 Is attrition based on room revenue, or # of room nights ?👈🏻 Check the video for a simple example of why this is important and how not having this clarified could cost you big 💰 and bigger headaches If your sourcing manager or third party ISN’T clarifying this in your contracts, you may need to get a new broker because you’re not being protected!
