Last night was truly special for Eylul Kayin and me as we co-hosted an intimate dinner and brought together the Turkish tech community at Dalida. ✨ A big thank you to everyone who joined us and actively engaged in the lively discussions about building in AI. It’s clear that our community is not just keeping pace with the latest advancements but is actively shaping the future of AI. A special shoutout to Magdalena Yesil, who shared captivating stories about the highs and lows of Silicon Valley. Her insights were a powerful reminder of the resilience and innovation that continue to drive the tech industry forward. A huge thank you to Menlo Ventures and Gradient Ventures for sponsoring the event and Sayat Ozyilmaz for offering fantastic flavors from home! Big news! FireHydrant has acquired Blameless. We're excited by the potential of this powerful union and proud to have backed FireHydrant since Matt Murphy led their 2020 series A. Congrats to Robert Ross and team- excited to see where you go from here!

    CEO of FireHydrant

Today, I am excited to announce that FireHydrant has acquired Blameless 🔥 Since 2018, FireHydrant and Blameless have been tackling the enormous incident management category in our own unique ways. However, during these past six years, we've held an unifying belief: businesses of all sizes will inevitably adopt modern incident management tooling. So why not simply embrace that belief together as one? Recent shifts in the market have only solidified my confidence that the time to tackle the enterprise portion of this market has arrived. Teams are demanding more from their on-call and alerting tools, and robust incident management practices are commonplace from early adopters to Fortune 500s. This acquisition empowers us to extend our lead as the preferred enterprise incident management platform and solve the unique challenges that building reliable software presents. The FireHydrant and Blameless teams have collaborated for months to make this process as smooth as possible focusing on the best of both platforms that we can bring to our customers. In addition, I'm excited that Accel and Third Point Ventures have joined us on our mission for a more reliable web. They both share the strong conviction that we have for incident management and have already proven to be great partners. Vas Natarajan and Dan Moskowitz will both take FireHydrant board seats. For the next several years, we'll continue setting the standard for incident management. We are now in a unique position to realize our vision: A world where all software is reliable. We are excited to see Menlo Ventures recognized as a top biotech VC by the industry experts at STAT.  We’d like to credit our healthcare team. We recruited Greg Yap in 2017 to bring focused expertise and new energy to our healthcare, investing in the opportunities that live at the intersection of tech and bio. Alongside Johnny Hu they have built an incredible portfolio of category-leading companies like Benchling, DELFI Diagnostics, Encoded Therapeutics Inc., and H1, breakout companies that are building on our previous success with companies like PillPack, Pliant Therapeutics, Recursion, and –of course– Gilead Sciences, which was incubated by Menlo Ventures in 1987. We are excited about what the future holds!

90% of executives say skills like communication and leadership are more important than ever, according to a 2024 LinkedIn survey. We’ve consistently heard the same from our customers. So, we asked ourselves: Could we create a practice-based, mastery-focused, and personalized one-on-one learning experience for soft skills? The answer? "Yes, We Can!" Can you try it for free? "Yes, You Can!" Check out my demo below and try it yourself. The quality of the AI role-play partners' responses, emotions, and the depth of the conversations will make you forget you're not speaking with a real person. #GoBeyond #GenAI #future

"The demands of efficient growth along with the rise of AI has combined to an adapt-or-die mentality that forces companies to become experimental.” Eppo spans product experimentation, AI model evaluation, personalization, and marketing campaign measurement all in one platform -- what an accelerant for forward-thinking companies like Perplexity, Coinbase, DraftKings Inc., etc. Still wish I could have been a buyer... Congrats Chetan Sharma & team on your Series B!! 🚀 More from TechCrunch here: https://lnkd.in/gvYwXgT7

    CEO at Eppo

I’m excited to announce that Eppo raised $28M in series B financing! The round was led by Davis Treybig at Innovation Endeavors, with participation from Preeti Rathi from Icon Ventures. It comes after a huge year for Eppo where we more than tripled revenue and are now working with experimentation teams at Coinbase, DraftKings Inc., and Perplexity. The experimentation industry has blossomed in the past two years, due to two topics on the mind of every board room today: 1. How do we somehow grow faster while having to cut costs? What options do I have for efficient growth? 2. How do we become fluent in AI before an AI-native competitor rises up? The answer to both is experimentation, and specifically making experiments pervasive, fast, and trustworthy. When teams operate with a “test-first” mindset, bad investments are killed quickly, good investments are reinforced, and innovative staff are empowered. We’ve seen the market realize that a new type of experimentation platform is now on the market, one that reflects the horsepower and flexibility of the systems that drive the FAANGs. Where legacy vendors could only test simple UX changes on marketing websites, Eppo customers are implementing personalization, de-risking product launches, ensembling AI models, and designing omni-channel integrated campaigns. Core to this difference is that legacy vendors could only track clicks, never core business KPIs like margin, cost, quality, subscriptions. In short, most company experimentation programs have grown stunted, bottlenecked by manual work and scarce expert resources. This leads to sluggish operations that don’t drive growth, and teams that get used to wondering what their tool can measure. Eppo was built for teams that are asking, “what do we NEED to measure for growth”, and how does the operating cost to measure these needs go to zero. We’re hiring! Check out our careers page for roles in marketing, PM, engineering, and sales DM me or sign up for a demo if you’d like to talk experimentation. Whether scaling 1000s of experiments across a global 500 company or running your first test, we’ve seen it all at this point! We’d love to chat. https://lnkd.in/dr7UZXka
