Congratulations on earning your medals AND mental well-being, Simone! Following her recent wins in the Paris 2024 Olympics, Simone Biles talked about the importance of mental health, especially relating to her career as an elite gymnast. "Leading up to Tokyo, I was so nervous about getting injured physically that I kind of ignored my mental health. And so I put that on the back burner and I was injured, except it was mental injury," she told reporters, including PEOPLE, after her win on Thursday. "And I think that was almost harder than physical." For gold medalists like Simone Biles, mental health matters. See if therapy is right for you at https://lnkd.in/gxddXHS9

Councilmember Kevin Flynn of District 2 and his Senior Aide Stacy Simonet joined us for a tour of WellPower's Behavioral Health Solutions Center last Friday. We were also joined by Cassie Williams, our Associate Director of Crisis Services, who led the tour and shared about the important work being done at the BHSC, including services offered at the crisis stabilization unit and the 30-day shelter on the third floor of the building. We are always honored to have our elected officials stop by our sites and better understand the resources available to their constituents.
