Career Journey: From Aircraft Electrician in the Navy to roles like Field Technician, Area Manager, and Project Manager, Jason’s journey is a testament to his commitment and expertise. His most memorable project so far? The NETC Fiber Expansion in Dillingham, Aleknagik, and Ekwok. Motivation: What drives Jason? The opportunity to be a trusted partner to our clients, ensuring their projects are handled with professionalism and care. Outside of Work: Jason’s passions include Whitetail Deer and Waterfowl hunting, playing golf, and reminiscing about his time as President of his High School FFA Chapter. Project Highlight: Tenakee Springs Rehabilitation Project We are thrilled to showcase our work as the Owner’s Project Manager for the Tenakee Springs Rehabilitation Project! 📍 Location: Tenakee Springs, Alaska Project Overview: The FEMA funded Tenakee Springs project was a comprehensive endeavor aimed at restoring and enhancing the infrastructure of this picturesque Alaskan community that was damaged in the severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides during the period of November 30 to December 2, 2020. The project involved extensive rehabilitation efforts to ensure the longevity and resilience of critical bridge fish ladder facilities. Our Role: As the Owner’s Project Manager, Meridian Management was entrusted with overseeing all aspects of the project, from initial planning and design through to construction and final inspection. Our responsibilities included: • Coordinating with stakeholders to align project goals and objectives. • Managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the project stayed on track. • Supervising construction activities to maintain quality and safety standards. • Implementing rigorous QA/QC protocols to guarantee excellence in every phase. • Conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with all specifications and regulations. • Utilizing advanced scheduling and cost control techniques to optimize efficiency and minimize delays. Key Achievements: ✔️ Successfully navigated the challenges of working in a remote location with limited access. ✔️ Implemented sustainable practices to preserve the natural beauty of Tenakee Springs. ✔️ Delivered the project on time and within budget, exceeding client expectations.
