About us
Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates is a single specialty gastroenterology and hepatology (liver disease) practice serving the New Orleans area that includes 25 GI doctors with three office locations – New Orleans, Metairie and Westbank. These physicians, along with three additional local gastroenterologists, comprise the medical staff of its three affiliated endoscopy centers – MGA Gastrointestinal Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centers. Our Board Certified doctors are experts in all aspects of their specialties, including colon cancer screening procedures, treatment of GERD, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and treatment of diseases of the liver and pancreas.
