Meet Ben Lobpries, MCC’s ESL Program Director. Ben tells us how he loves the ESL program because of the diversity of the student population. Students from all over the world meet in the classrooms, sharing their experience from each other and growing their English skills day by day. MCC plays a key part in the journey of its international students. “I think that not only does MCC provide them with the education that they need, but it provides them with a home base, a safe place where they can grow with each other and with their teachers as their mentors.” Thank you, Ben, we are grateful for everything you do! Meet our Marketing student Giovana R. Originally from Brazil, Giovana is one of MCC’s new student ambassadors. She decided to apply for our student ambassador program to share her knowledge about being an international student, because for her, one of the most important things is to build a community. Giovana is super-excited about her new role at MCC, and she cannot wait to connect with our other international students.

Time for finals in MCC’s Marketing class! On Thursday, August 8th our Marketing class presented their Brand New Concepts projects as part of their final exams. Students talked about their ideas and showed the knowledge they gained during Summer Term 2024. You all did a great job with your presentations! We are happy for you and proud of you for finishing one more step on your way to your degree. We will see you next week for the start of a new term of Business, Accounting, and Marketing classes.
