🚨 This month, our team had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Multidisciplinary Team Academy in Syracuse, NY! 🗽 Over two days, we engaged in interactive activities focused on enhancing collaboration and team growth. With core team members from CAC, Child Protective Services, Law Enforcement, and Prosecution, we delved into topics like team development, conflict resolution, and case flow charts. We were joined by a fantastic group of professionals, including Yasmine Finnegan (Rosario) and Caroline Goldstein from the DA's office, Laura Popma, M.S.W. from CHOP, Rachel Morris from OCY, Adrian Stead from Pottstown Police Department, Kelly Hangebaugh from Creative Health Services Inc, and our very own Liz Nolan from Mission Kids. Together, we strengthened our understanding of each discipline's role and how to better coordinate our efforts for successful outcomes for children. Our very own Veronica Trejo, Bi-lingual Community Prevention Educator, represented Mission Kids at the Crimes Against Children Conference in Dallas, Texas, where over 5,648 professionals gathered from across the globe! 🌍 Veronica had the privilege of connecting with Tina Bigdeli and the incredible team at National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
