Plant tour: 235 Company: Alpha Foundry Co Location: Wright City, MO It was a divide and conquer day for the MAM team, visiting companies across the state from Springfield to St. Louis! Another amazing day visiting Missouri manufacturers. Today, three of our team from Missouri Association of Manufacturers visited 27North Inc. and Fiocchi of America. Both stops were with Lt. Governor, Mike Kehoe. As a former manufacturer and current business owner (and farmer), Mr. Kehoe is a tremendous supporter of manufacturers all over this great state. First stop, 27North where owner Pavel Bosovik interviewed Mr. Kehoe on his podcast in front of a live audience. With standing room only during the podcast and then a plant tour, 27North is always, always a great place to be. Next stop was Fiocchi. We met up with Tim Caldwell and David Blenker for a tour and a chat with several employees. We already knew the high quality of the Fiocchi shotgun shells because we use them during our Fall and Spring Shootout events at Ozark Shooters Sports Complex. But, we can now also say that Fiocchi has some of the nicest people working there you'll ever meet. Their facilities and grounds are beautiful, we were honored to be there today. Thanks again, Tim and David. And thanks for adding a special sticker on the back of the bus. #manufacturing #manufacturers #madeinMO #madeinUSA #buyMO Michael Eaton Andrew LeGrand, MBA Matheson Eaton Jeff Wright Shannon Tidwell, MBA Bob Graham Shelley Cologna, SHRM-CP Gabby Picard Ken Talley, MBA Mark McNay Nikki Holden Tom Jensen, SHRM-CP Dawson Nimmo, CIC, PWCA Sam Holliday Mike Cosgrove Nick Meinhardt Tommy A. On the road, connecting with manufacturers and the communities where they're located. Always time well-spent.
The Missouri Association of Manufacturers was on the road yesterday, over in Neosho connecting with a few Members. Although we have a Plant Tour at K&S Wire Products, Inc. scheduled next week, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a sneak peak and tag along with Missouri's Lt. Governor, Mike Kehoe and his wife, Claudia. (More on K&S Wire Products after next week's tour.) Traveling east to Mt. Vernon, the Lt. Governor invited me on his bus to discuss the manufacturing landscape in Missouri - what we are seeing, the issues and challenges, as well as how he can support industry moving forward. An incredible opportunity! Next stop was at, MAM Member, Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center where Scott George and Brian George hosted the community to meet and visit with the Lt. Governor. Great conversations and discussions. It was great to see another MAM Member there - Jack Schultz from Clark Industries. Thank you to our hosts and those able to join us! A good day.
