The largest student-led energy & climate conference in the world since 2006. March 11-12, 2024; Boston & virtual
About us
The MIT Energy Conference is an annual student-run conference organized by the MIT Energy & Climate Club that brings together leaders in the fields of technology, policy, industry, and finance to develop solutions for the world’s most pressing energy challenges and tackle climate change. Environmental and security concerns have created an opportunity for fundamental change in the way the world produces and consumes energy. The MIT Energy Conference will explore these opportunities and showcase promising technology and policy pathways that have the potential to make a significant impact on energy solutions across the global energy landscape. In addition to energy/power, the conference will also explore how to effectively decarbonize other sectors of the economy such as agriculture, industry & transportation, in an equitable manner.

I am very excited to be moderating this panel of exceptional players in Climate-Tech Capital at the MIT Energy Conference. As climate tech innovation matures, financing needs to evolve. While there is still a need for smart venture capital, there is also an increasing need for project finance, debt financing, and bespoke financing for first-of-a-kind projects. Join us as we discuss the trends in climate/climate-tech capital and how the market will evolve in 2024 and beyond! https://lnkd.in/gmSVA3ZZ
🚨Panel alert! Come join us to discuss about"The Evolving Capital Stack for Clean-Tech: Leveraging all forms of capital to advance climate goals" This panel will explore how as the climate and climate tech become more mature industries, their financing needs are evolving.
