על מונולגים כחלק מהתהליך ההשקעה של קרן בחברה - הקרן מפגישה את היזמים עם קונים פוטנציאלים למוצר שלהם מתוך ארגונים שונים, לדוגמא - Cyber -> CISO, DevTool -> VP R&D, Finance -> CFO וכו׳ וכו׳. מה קרן מחפשת לראות בתהליך? שהיזמים מסוגלים למכור שהיזמים חדים על עולם הבעיה שהם פותרים לקבל ולידציה לכאב ולמוכנות לקנות מאותו פרוספקט הבעיה טעות מספר אחת (לדעתי האישית בלבד) שתמיד חוזרת על עצמה - מונולוג. גם מול קרנות, אבל בעיקר מול ולידטורים. מונולוג, הגדרה - לדבר ברצף בלתי פוסק ו״לזרוק״ את כל התזה \ דמו \ רקע \ סיפור על הפרוספקט. למה זה בעיה? לא כולם מרגישים בנוח להפריע ולהתפרץ לדיבור שוטף בשביל לשאול שאלות או לבקש הכוונה כי כשתסיימו את המונולוג הזמן יסתיים ולא יהיה אפשר לנהל שיח כלשהוא על המוצר / רעיון / תזה (שזאת מהות השיחה!) אין לכם מושג מה הצד השני חושב על מה שאתם עושים, והפידבק יגיע לקרן ישירות בלי שתהיה לכם הזדמנות להתייחס אליו המלצות: לשאול יותר שאלות. "Mom Test" סטייל. זה שומר את הפרוספקט עירני, הוא גם מעורב וגם זה הרבה יותר כיף מאשר הרצאה. כמובן שאתם יכולים ללמוד מהתשובות שלו הרבה לשמור על Talk Ratio של 50 50, דרך אחת היא לנסות לא לדבר ברצף יותר מ2.5 דקות אין בעולם דמו שאמור לקחת יותר מ-5 דקות - אם הוא לוקח יותר מ-5 דקות, כנראה שעשיתם טעות. אין סיבה להראות את כל הפיצ׳רים האפשריים במוצר (לא אכפת לCFOים מה- Light Mode החדש שהוספתם). עדיף להראות את ה-essence ומשם לזרום לאן שהפרוספקט מתעניין. גם אם זה בירה 🍻🍻. חמישי שמח לכולם!

We spent an evening with young investors from local VCs, family offices, private and institutional firms, and people who are passionate about the art of investments.
